Integral Cloud Solutions is a cloud engineering consultancy based in Greater Boston. We specialize in AWS infrastructure, application development, and energy data platform implementations built on the OSDU® Data Platform. Our work spans from hands-on cloud architecture to building open source developer tools used by teams across the industry.
We founded the company on a simple principle: engineering teams deserve partners who write code, not slide decks. Every engagement is led by senior engineers who build, deploy, and support the systems we deliver.
Open source is core to how we operate. CIButler and LeafPress are fully open source and actively maintained. Petrovascope is a commercial product built on the same engineering principles. We also contribute to and help maintain projects within the OSDU® Data Platform ecosystem, including the Python SDK and Policy Service.
Shane Hutchins is the founder and principal engineer at Integral Cloud Solutions. He is a former AWS Solutions Architect and an Open Group Invited Expert in the OSDU® Forum. Shane brings deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, energy data platforms, and developer tooling.
Before founding Integral Cloud Solutions, Shane spent years building and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure in AWS, and previously managed multiple private data centers. He now focuses on building open source tools, developing custom AI agents using Google Agentspace and Agent Development Kit (ADK), and helping engineering teams adopt modern cloud and data platform practices.
We operate as a small, senior team. Every member of the team brings significant industry experience and holds or has held prior Secret-level security clearance. We keep the team intentionally small so that every client works directly with the engineers building their systems.
